The Bible can appear to be so straightforward at times, paving a clear path for us. However, just reading the words on a page doesn’t give us the whole picture. Cultures, faith, living a life of service, and God’s plan are complex things to understand. We have to approach them with humility and an openness to see beyond the seemingly simplistic stories and lists in order to keep learning and growing. What a gift it is that we can keep changing and growing closer to God throughout our lives.
